This role is a for a highly-regarded, high-performing, high-frequency trading firm in New York that takes a scientific approach to investing and trading. Their Infraftructure Team is currently looking for a Windows specialist who will build trading servers, provide virtualization solutions (mostly Azure but Citrix/VMware is also used), as well as cloud and automation tools/development. They're ideally looking for folks who are skilled with Powershell too. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Windows server and infrastructure specialist, advising in long-term technical strategy as well as day-to-day virtualization and cloud solutions
• Provide rotational on-call for troubleshooting and support tasks
• Work with end-users and communicate technical components on a regular basis

Requirements:

• Advanced Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Expertise in Windows technologies, particularly in server platforms (on-premise and cloud)
• Strong Powershell experience, with the ability to build Windows machines
• Virtualization and automation experience
• Background with the following technologies: Azure, GCP, AWS, SCOM, SCCM
