Job Description 
Working directly with all areas of the Firm, the Technology Department plays a critical role in maintaining a seamless infrastructure and in developing proprietary solutions tailored to the Firm's investment activities and operations.  In particular, the Development group is heavily involved in building custom tools for risk management, research, trading, cash and position reconciliation, pricing, P&L attribution, collateral management, fund accounting, and investor relations.  The Infrastructure group is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the Firm’s network and server infrastructure and providing global support for our end users.

This individual will be working closely with System Engineers to provide onsite and remote technology support for the overall firm. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Daily maintenance of desktop systems, including troubleshooting desktop and laptop issues
  • Building and deploying workstations and managing application installations
  • Ensuring proper documentation of assigned Help Desk tickets to facilitate root cause analysis and prevention of repeat incidents
  • Coordinating video conferencing and zoom room setup and troubleshooting any issues
  • Assisting with information security research, mobile device management and keeping pace with new technologies
  • Support the team with ad hoc projects and initiatives


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related preferred
  • 2-4 years’ professional experience
  • Ability to research solutions and work hands-on when presented with an unfamiliar problem or technology
  • Capable of troubleshooting desktop and laptop computing for both Windows and Mac
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Server 2012/2016/2019, Microsoft Office, and other Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of Apple products including iPhone, Mac, MacBook, and Apple TV
  • Familiarity with Intune and Powershell is a plus
  • Ability to uphold the Firm’s Information Security policies by diligently reviewing and monitoring systems and proactively responding to events
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Independent, self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Clear, concise, and timely documentation of all procedures
  • A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
